Reconstruction
Bede's World and St Paul's Church along with the Anglo-Saxon
Farm take you back to the life and times of The Venerable Bede (673-735) who
entered the monastery of St Peter at Wearmouth at the age of 7, moving to Jarrow
at 13 where he wrote many books and on religion, art natural history and poetry.
Located at the south end of the Tyne Tunnel on the A19 or a short walk from the
Bede Metro station
